Long tradition

STOKO® goes back as far as 1907 to the foundation of the 2nd plant of the Crefelder Seifenfabrik Stockhausen & Traiser. In 1935 started a new area with the development of PRAECUTAN®, the world's first soap-free skin cleanser. So even then it was possible to gently clean the skin in the workplace.

Today the term "STOKO® Skin Care" is synonymous with keeping working skin healthy in addition to caring for skin in a domestic environment.

The Evonik STOKO® Skin Care product range has its head office in Krefeld. STOKO® Skin Care employs around 220 employees around the world. Over 50 different products are produced at two locations - Krefeld (DE) and Greensboro, NC (US).
