Tell us about you! Why and how did you get into your sport?

My mom loved skiing! She pushed me out on a pair of thrift store skis when I was two years old. Ever since that time I have always loved it! It's a great way to get outside with your friends, push yourself and have a good time!

What's a fun fact about you?

There is no food I don't like! Other than skiing I love mountain biking, climbing and I've been trying to get into some mountaineering stuff that still needs some work though.

What are your goals and aspirations?

I want to push myself to the greatest of my ability.

What has been your biggest challenge throughout your career? How did you overcome it?

One of the biggest challenges within skiing is probably staying healthy. When skiing as hard as you can there are risks. Sometimes they pay off other times they don't. This might set you back a bit and might result in some lost courage.

Injury is a part of life and sport - how did you deal with yours?

I have broken a couple bones had some bad concussions and out with knee problems. All in all, I would say I've been pretty lucky! I have dealt with those injuries with resting and then going hard at the gym. Also, by taking every precaution which now includes wearing the K1!

What gets you the most excited about Stoko?

I just love that you could wear any brace which does not compromise your performance it rather makes you more comfortable and ready to go! I think this is a revolutionary product and I'm stoked to see how far this company can go.

Do you have any pre-competition rituals?

I do not compete much anymore. However, to get ready for a line I take a couple deep breaths to hype myself up and maybe listen to my favorite song. I focus on the fun of it which brings me to the right mental state!

Favourite snack before/after a sweat session?

I love drinking electrolytes during a long session! Afterwards I pretty much just eat whatever I have in the fridge hehe.
