I got the Flux for skiing instead of the Summit. I skied it in 17 degrees and it wasn't a problem. Did not have other under garments on at the time. The work, support of knees and I think other parts like hips and whatnot. I personally would get the Flux for skiing. Plenty warm enough unless it gets real cold. I also skied it in spring conditions and it wasn't too hot. They are great until you have to take a ****. Real pain then.

I purchased the K1 Summit for skiing and loved it so much, I purchased the K1 Flux for other activities: weight training, hiking, mountain biking & golf. The Stoko products have reduced my knee pain substantially during activity. Unfortunately, Canada Life has denied my medical claim for reimbursement because they are not constructed with steel or rigid plastic. I am appealing that decision, and still recommend the product.

I had been experiencing some knee pain while skiing as well as during core/cardio/strength workouts. I have an old ACL graft on one knee and no injuries other than life on the other. I bought the K1 Summit and experienced immediate pain reduction and stability confidence on the first wear. I have yet to wear it skiing but squats, lunges, step ups etc are all radically better for me. I can't recommend more strongly for someone in a similar position to me. Despite some reviews indicating difficulties putting it on its very quick and straight forward. I did have a seam open just a bit and the company immediately and without question replaced the product. I do find the Boa dials a bit uncomfortable during crunches but that is a small issue relative to the huge benefits I am seeing with using it.

I am very happy that I found these...I hate wearing knee braces, especially when I play hockey because the damn things always get repositioned when I sweat. These worked out great! I was able to play without bulky knee braces and without tylenol! lol I have to lose some weight because the waist is very tight, but they are great otherewise.

2nd set of Stoko's that I've bought, one for skiing and one for lightweight outings, especially as Spring is about to sprung. Once you know how to put them on, it's no different than a pair of long underwear. The extra feeling of support on my knees has given me more confidence to workout for more effort. Interesting aside is that the tights are reducing the amount of muscle cramps when I'm stretching. Definitely a win for my walks and soon to being again runs.

After a few eventful days skiing in Revelstoke last season my right knee was not happy. My daughter found me a used pair and it made the last few days of skiing so much better. But the tights were a size small so this season I bought new pair size medium. I thought about it for a little while because of the price but in the end purchased. One of the best piece of ski gear I ever purchased. It doesn’t make my knee pain disappear (physio will make that happen) but these tights definitely make me more confident with the knee and diminishes my pain. Also they are pretty comfortable, don’t feel them at all while skiing and they keep me warm. Highly recommend.

I'm very impressed with my Stoko K1 Flux knee compression pants. I suffered a knee injury which hasn't totally healed and I play 2 softball games every week. I thought I wasn't able to play again because the knee pain has been bothering me quite a lot. I've been wearing all sorts of knee braces just to keep me in the game and after some extensive research I ran into the Stoko products and I figured I would give it a try. These pants are incredible, they give me total support on my knees. It allows me to run and play softball without any pain at all. It has also helped in preventing hamstring and calf muscle injuries. The Stoko pants were tight at first but as the weeks have passed, they have molded nicely to my body. Fantastic product. I have been using them for hiking and badminton and can say they make a world of difference. Love the ability to tighten them when I need to. Getting older is difficult but these definitely make me feel younger with their ability to assist me as needed.

Love these tights! I have had multiple knee surgeries, back surgeries and a hip replacement. These tights make me feel so much better! I’m nearing 70, and they provide great support and comfort!

When I researched your product after seeing an ad a few months ago I was hopeful it would help me with my GM (short for my title above). The Stoko product advertised it could help with golfing and sure enough it did. The support for my GM is terrific and I believe I will be able to continue to golf at a high level despite my age of 77. It locks my
GM in and provides the type of support and flexibility I must have in order to make an appropriate golf swing eliminating the pain I had before on my right side. I am age 68 and have been alternately wearing my Stoko full length tight and a different 3/4 alpine skiing tight while skiing for the past 2 months. I originally began wearing them preventively to protect my knees as an advanced skier and ski instructor and because I was beginning to notice knee tenderness after switching from Telemark to Alpine skis. I can feel the improved stabilization of my knees and greater stability while skiing with the Stoko tight. With and without the other tight I experienced several different levels of pitting edema in my legs above the boot cuff, above the end of the tight and the top of the ski sock. After removal of the Stoko, I have no sign of edema in my legs except for slightly above the sock cuff. This improvement is very remarkable!! Two benefits in one tight. They become so comfortable that I don't feel the need to take the tights off, even after getting home. Give yourself some time to break them in and they will be easier to put on, but still give yourself at least 5 minutes to get into them properly. And thank God for the men's fly in the front as they are tight to pull down to pee.
